Welcome to my kitchen and the Chaos that occupies it. If you find the name of the blog discomforting, then… well… don’t: Since I started studying I’ve had the nickname Chaos, and hence also the name of my blog.
I’ve always liked to cook. But it wasn’t until April 2005, inspiration came to me. It was my first copy of the danish food magazine (MAD&venner) that opened the world of food to me for good.
Since then I’ve been very interested in trying new things. Currently I’m more into breadth than depth: I like trying new tastes, methods etc, but I rarely stay focused long enough to conquer the mastery of details. Not that I don’t want to, but I’ve always found that it is easier to achieve refreshing results when starting on something quite new, than when tuning on tiny details. So the details are left for later in life – no rush, is there?
Currently I spend very much time in the kitchen with my 3-year-old boy, Eike.
My idea with this blog is to share recipes and experiences in three different languages. Danish, German and English.
And what do I do when I’m not chopping and kneading? I study Computer Science at the Univeristy of Copenhagen, read a lot (mostly Crime and Fantasy/Sci Fi) and try to find time for my friends and family.
